civic 2000 ex- how to run amp/rca wire
Need a little more info as I am not quite sure what you are asking.
Attaching RCAs is as simple as plugging them in.
Amp wire? Are you referring to the power wire, ground wire, remote wire or speaker wire? As for hiding the cable, (depends on where the amp is) I just pull up the door sills and kick panel to get under the carpet at the edge.
If the amps are under the seat, I will try to run the RCAs under the console, otherwise I go down the opposite side of the car from the power wires.
If they are in the trunk, I continue to feed the wire behind the panel past the back door, under the back seat and into the trunk.

Had a buddy of mine do it for me. I believe all he did was remove the trim across the bottom of door frame and lift up the carpet a bit and slid em thru to the back seat and squeezed em thru there. just have to tuck em behind the seat everyonce in a while but it looks hidden and good. Hope that helps ya
Power (for me at least) is the hardest. Start by finding a hole, or making one, threw your fire wall. I would HIGHLY suggest you do not connect it to the battery till you are done, so leave a little extra in the engine bay to move it around hot stuff and stuff like that. Some cars have random holes with grommets in them, others, like mine; I just used a drill and electrical tape. That’s the hard part. Once you get that just carefully pull off the panels from your drivers or passenger side. Slip the wire in, and replace the panels. If you break some of the fasteners you can normally pick them up at a local hardware store. My local ace carries some that fit my car. They cost 35 cents apiece. Buy extra; you may need them for your next project. To get around the backseat. Either go under the center, if your seat divides or whichever side you want really. That’s pretty much all I can tell you. The RCA cables connect from the back of your aftermarket radio (you have an aftermarket radio right) and run the same path on the opposite side of the vehicle. Some people also run them straight back under the center column and then just let them chill on top of the carpet in the center of the back seat. The last way to run a wire is under the vehicle itself. I’ve herd of a few people doing this. I just think it’s stupid personally. Basically they take a piece of 1/4 inch PVC pipe. Put their wire in it. Zip tie it up. (PVC runs like 2 bucks for 10 feet at hardware stores) so it’s really up to you. Good luck on the wiring though.
