Default crackling noise help plz

okay ive had my alpine type rs in my 05 sedan for like 4 months max right now. I had recently (about a month ago) installed an alpine hu, type r sub and amp into my car. However, now when i play my music my right rear speaker has this annoying crackling sound to it. I need help plzz

It sounds like u havea bad conection probably just a loose wire from ur speaker to ur hu.

You either blew your speakers, have a loose connection, or a wire is grounding itself
check all three, including RCA connection
also try hooking up another speaker to that port to see if it does the same, if it doesn't, then it's your speaker with the problem

Temporarily swap the speaker wires at the amp from left to right. If the problem stays on the right side it is either the speaker itself or the speaker wiring. If it moves to the left it is going to be the amp, RCA cable, head unit, i.e. something before where you swapped the wires.

That's really weird, I have a type R system (6.5's in front, 6x9's in back, 12" type r sub, and 2 type r amps and pioneer head unit) and my front right speaker makes a crackling noise as well. But only on certain songs, I might be having a similar problem to you. Weird huh.

yeah haha that is really ironic. However thanks for the feedback..al there was was a loose wire and i tightened it up a bit and now it works good as gold! :-)
