Default Custom Sub enclosure Question

Does any one know if I can make a custom subwoofer enclosure in the floor of my trunk without ditching the spare tire? I'm thinking that the bottom of the sub can go where the spare tire is bolted to the car in the middle. Is there enough room in their? I saw the DIY post on how to make the custom floor enclosure, but that shows the removal of the spare. AndI dont want a spare sliding around back there or in the back seat of the car.
Anyadvise is greatly appreciated!

If I were you I would just do a fiberglass one on the side of the trunk. Then you can still get to your spare. If you try to make one that will fit with the spare, the box will be too small.

Even if you did make a sometime that goes down in that area without taking your spare out, you know how hard its going to be to take your spare out. I would just make somthing that sits on the floor.

You could build a false floor (a new floor made out of MDF) and then mount the sub upside down, you generally get the bass from the back of the driver anyway... Personally though I think its easier just to lump a sub box into your boot and fix it down with industrial velcro..
