Those are great suggestions..what if forgot to mention is that since i got my car used, there was already a head unit in there. I don't have the stock one anymore. I have a decent 1 tho..I have the Sony CDX-L350...But I wanted to upgrade it, then upgrade my speakers and such. So does what ur saying still work with this older head unit?

Depends on how it was installed... if they cut the harness... and spliced the wiring... no... if they bought the aftermarket harness... yes.... and all you have to do is take it off the stereo... and put it onto yours.
