You can probably help out a lot by not putting bass through your speakers. 120 Hz and up is about all speakers should see. Cross overs are probably going to be your best friend, your head unit will have one built in. Set it up so that sub gets everything under 100-120 Hz then give your speakers everything over whatever the crossover point in your head unit happens to be. This will help your subs sound better too.

After that if you're still not satisfied, get an external 4 channel amp.
