Default front speaker

sup guys. this is weird. i have an alpine cda-9857 headunit and alpine type s speakers in the front and rear. every speaker works perfectly except the front right speaker. it is distorted and sounds blown when the bass hits. evne when the bass is tunred off it sounds distorted. does anyone know why this would be? like maybe a bad connection or maybe the internal amp on the deck is toast? cuz it cant be that i overpowered it or else the other speakers would be distorted too right?

take off the door panel and swap the speaker and see if it makes a diff, or pull out ur readio and see what the resistance is on that speaker
should be 4 ohms

maybe you wired the positive in the negative.
speakers will work fine out of phase . being out of phase they will be playing the exact opposite of the other..which kills your midbass and will give you a hollow sound. they wont give you distortion

switch out the speaker, if it stops, then its the speaker. If it still does it with a different speaker, then its the radio.
