i have a 2000 civic si coupe and want to kno if my aftermarket head unit will go right in place of the factory one ....or do i need a trim kit or somethin

yeah you need an install kit.. there like 15 bucks at like walmart and such.. and a wireing harness.. about 20 probly.. lots of how to's ont he internet to tell you how to install

No they don't lol. But yes a dash kit and wiring harness, both can be had on ebay for $10.
