Default Headunite problem..

Alright...Now that I have my Pioneer DEH-7400MP installed I am having a problem...When I have the visualations turned on or whatever, the screen will just all of a sudden brighten up a lot and then it will go back out. It's hard to explain but, if anyone has an idea of what i'm saying and can help...let me know. I know when I was wiring it up, there were two wires that I was unsure about....one for the illumination, and one for dash light or some **** like that...I just went with the color coding and everything turned out ok except for this little problem..Any help would be cool. Thanks.

i think it is supposed to do that, i have a pioneer deck and the screen inverts itself and then goes back every 30 seconds or something, i guess just to keep the screen images from getting burned in if its on for too long.
