Ok here is what happend we put in a pioneer head unit to replace the stock cd player and a system in the trunk(amp and subs) it took forever to hook up because how much of a pain the headunit is to put in so we did this for about 3 1/2 hours and when we finished everything seems perfect but when i went to leave i turned the headlights on and the guage light wont come on....all other lights work blinkers everything just the guage lights are out... the 7.5 fuse for instument lights was poped and kept poppin Anyone kwow the problem THANX

 

your ground wire may have been wired wrong, that happened to me in my old corolla, turned out we wired the ground onto the wrong one.

 

Yea.... i dunno though cuz if it was the ground wouldnt the cd player or system not work....everything works perfect cd player system everything is good just no guage light??? someone said that one of the wires hooked up to the player might be overloadin that fuse...we put a 15 fuse into it and that fuse didnt break but like 2 or 3 7.5 fuses poppd but guages havent worked at all???? HELP ME

 

you connected the dimmer wire, disconnect it and cap it.

 

still might have been a ground wire connected improperly, cause when i did that in the Corolla it still played and everything, the only reason i knew something was wrong was cause my dash lights didn't come on, and people were flashing their headlights behind me cause my tail lights were out... took us 4 hours to figure it out...if you have a wiring diagram i would suggest double checking the wiring
