Question honda civic alarm

does anyone have detailed forums on installing these type (basic) alarms.
or any instructions at all..or any experience?

i bought this alarm a while back and still havent installed it.. does any one know how to, or would it be better off paying to have it professionaly installed

If you have absolutely no idea what you are doing then you might be better off having a professional do it, cuz an alarm is only as good as the install.

but if you go to www.the12volt.com and search for your car, the alarm section should have all the wire colors and where you can find them.

You need the instructions for the alarm. This "new in the box" deal should have come with some instructions. Then you look up the wiring diagram for the car and match up the wires by function.

its not to difficult....... keyless entry is alittle harder and wiring it to the stock trunk wire can be tricky to find. but not to hard just takes time and testing...

just depends on your year and model civic.......

first power/ground... then the hood pin, trunk wire, door wire, and then keyless entry.
work with one wire at a time...
