There ya go. Do it right.

And all the talk of 24V systems... I just read an article that was about car companies trying out and testing 48V systems. As an electrical guy I can say that 48V systems would be really cool, no need for massive amounts of current anymore. I honestly don't see it happening in standard gas burning cars though. Maybe hybrids will move to a full higher voltage system though.

yeah higher voltage systems would be cool. wouldn't need big *** wires for our amps. but it would be a very big problem, cause all car accesories and stuff is all made to run on 12 volts right now, so by making a car that would run on 48 volts, they would have to have accesories made to run on 48 and some to run on 12 volt.

you can't use a 24 volt battery on an amp, it is designed to run on 12 volts.

Take a house plug that's 12 volt, cut the end off... wire the ground and power to the amp... and there ya go... lol That's how I have a few bars of neon wired up in my house.

are you talking about a little transformer that plugs in a wall outlet and changes voltage to 12 volts???? if so, that will not handle the load of the amp, those thing can handle i think at max around 3-5 amps tops. it's ok for neons, but not for an amp.
