I'd say get a better amp than the Infinity. Give me a little bit and i'll go find some better ones....

edit: here's another thread, https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=75090 , but most of those are 2ch.

what's your price range?

Also don't buy from Ikesound.com or onlincarstereo.com. I've been reading bad things about them lately

I am a really big fan of infinity speakers. I feel that you made a good choice, and you really can't go wrong with either the alpines or infinity.

If you are looking at getting a 4 ch amp, I would look at the Alpine MRP-F300. its a 75Wx4 RMS at 2 ohms. and you can get it around $150.

a really like alpine amps, but theres plenty more other brands out there that are good too.

Infinity was great a while back, now they're just kinda riding on their old reputation. Good speakers dont get me wrong, but not the best.

Alpine makes solid amps, you'll be happy with one

edit: My second sub was an Infinity reference 1252w and i loved it! Although i only had one other sub to compare it to.....makes me really want to get one or two and see if i still like them lol!

I dont think that infinity has gotten worse but they have made lower priced speakers that reflect the price. But that is imo.

The reference line is extremely affordable and thus reflects that vs the kappa perfects.

man its going to be tough finding something decent at that price. I was able to find a couple of good amps in the 150 range, but not any cheaper.

i did find a kenwood kac-6404 for 100, and the Hifonics TXi 4408 for 120 at sonicelectronix.com, but i would consider these to be just mediocre amps.

^ +1 I'd spend an extra 30-50 bucks and get something in that price range.

edit: I have a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X520 2ch if you want

It does 125 RMS x2 @ 4 ohm
250 RMS x2 @ 2 ohm

If you wire your front speakers and your rear speakers in series, then it would give your speakers ~60 RMS. the only thing you wouldn't be able to do is use the balance on your HU. It's not Sundown, but it's a good amp. I'd use it, but I'm getting new speakers that need a little more power. PM me if you're interested!

the best prices I found were at dealercostcaraudio. free shipping

they have the infinity amp for 129 I think. I dont know anything about the amp though, it might suck. Ill be spending around 150ish for the amp, but that will be a couple months probably
