Here is a tech tip for xoop. Dont worry too much about the sub handling power. And dont be blinded by a 1000 watt amp running at $100-250. INstead, buy a quality amp that pumps out around 300-400 watts @ $200-300 dollars. Normally those $200-$300 300 watt amps will blow those cheap 1000 watts out of the water.

One more thing, the best sounding systems in cars/ comps/ or just for recreation all have one secret: a powerful amp. The more power you have behind a speaker, the better sounding and efficient the speaker will be. Im not referring to loud, make sure of that.

Hope that helps.

Any idea what these are like: http://cgi.ebay.ca/INFINITY-9603i-6-...QQcmdZViewItem ? I was told by several people that even low end Infinity are pretty good speakers for the money (not just on this forum). Is this only true with the high end ones?

Infinty = the vtech. I have a Perfect 12.1 sub and Perfect 6.1 components in the front. They're amazing. Make sure you have high quality amps powering them. I have JBL amps... highhhhhhhly recomend them.
