Default Installing neons

I wanna install my underbody kits, but my dad says no cuz he says that hydraulic car lifts will break the lights when the car gets lifted, even when the lights are installed properly.

Is my dad right about this?

your dad is full of it... As a matter of fact, I installed them on a friend's car while it was on a hydraulic lift. Unless those operating the lift are complete retards, you'll be just fine. But just for good measure, warn them that the lights are there.

...or spend your money on something that makes you faster

exactly, if they are installed in a way that the lift will effect them then of course they will break. But if they are installed correctly and out of the way of the lift points then you will be fine.
