apple's willing to replace the batteries on the iPod now, for something like $90.

i'd rather pay the $25 to $30 and do it myself.

I don't even have a IPOD yet. I do got some little napster thing they gave me when I got direct tv but I haven't messed with it any. What is the whole reason for haveing one vs everything else on the market.

because they actually work like they're supposed to as opposed to having to fight to get most MP3 players to work.

if you know someone who has one, play with their iPods and you'll understand pretty quickly.

i gave away my old RIO mp3 player for free (two of them, actually) because they were just downright junk in comparison to my new iPod.

Rio makes quality products IMO, they were practically the pioneers of MP3 players, it was sad to see them go out of business, especially with what they had on the table ready to come out.
