JBL?
Hi guys I'm new to the forum, and I wanted some advice regarding JBL Car Audio. I know that JBL=infiinity=Harman Kardman, but I don't see to find many reviews on their audio equipment.
I was going to get a sub and a amp with my car, and at the local car audio store I was look at this.
JBL GTO 601.1 AMP
JBL P1024 600w Mono Sub
I mostly listen to techno and some rock and roll, and I like to bass to sound really clean and tight. That is why I decided to go with the 10 inch and a sealed enclosure.
I was going to go for 2 JBL P1022's, but the guy said since I wanted as little trunk rattle possible to go with just one P1024. I don't know how loud the P1024 goes since they didn't have it on display. =(
Basically I'm just wondering if JBL makes good amps and subs, or if I should consider the slightly more expensive JL or not. Once again, I really like tight clean bass and I just really want it to sound good in the car.
Thanks!

The size of the subwoofer plays no part in how "tight" the sound is, further more if your sales person told you to only get one 10" to avoid trunk rattle, dude is a horrible salesman. There are plenty of things you can do that will end trunk rattle. Personally I don't think one of theose subs is going to cut it, get two or get a 12"(or two
)
My JBL amps were absolutely amazing for what I paid for them. As Remmy said, with an electrical system like a Civic you can't go wrong with their lower power draw either.
Vote for JBL. Maybe look at Infinity Perfect subs though, same parent company as JBL as you stated, but in my experience they're a little better at making drivers and JBL owns the amp side.
