Yes. I bought a full sheet of MDF like you saw in the second picture.

yeah good idea. i'm sure a lot of people would find it handy, and alot less expensive than have a professional custom install

Nice job.. I am thinking about doing a full Fiberglass enclosure or building a false floor in my hatch.. Just havent had the time to get them done.. yours looks good though..

I have a sub that seems to be pretty similar to yours (Diamond D310D2). I was wonering, did you keep the ends open or did you end up sealing them? I don't know exactly what to do because I think if I were to seal the ends there wouldn't be enough air space in there for this powerful sub. So how does it sound how you have it? Is it loud? any performance info on this before I build would be great! thanks
