Hey guys, I've got my new 6 x 9's for the rear deck, and I understand there is a lot of dissassembling to do with the back seat. I'm fine with that, infact, I already have the bottom on my seat taken off. However, at this point, I am stumped. There are no guides to be found from what it seems concerning a 2003 Civic Coupe (EX). If anyone has any gems of wisdom or explanation as to how to dissassemble the back, I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys!

 

The best thing you can do it go and get a manual for your car. They are only like $20 and it will have everything you need. Here is a link to the one you need.

 

Well, without a manual, I have basically the entire back of my car emptied of plastic molding. So I got to the point where I was ready to set in the new 6 x 9's, and they don't fit. I bought a pair of Infinity Reference 9612i's, that which the salesman at Best Buy said would fit just fine. The problem is the two thin plastic rods dont give the speaker enough room to rest on the exterior metal plating. I think only one of the two bars is actually too high. Is there anything I can do, or do I have to return these speakers for different ones?

Alright, I'm bringing the Infinity's back to Best Buy tomorrow, gonna pick up something else I suppose. This time I have some research behind my belt. This has to be the first time I've ever just bought something without doing weeks worth of research before hand, and sure enough.. it bit be in the ***. Oh well, now I get to drive with a stupid looking backseat all over the place tomorrow.
