Default New head unit!

The other day i realized how crappy my music sounded in my car, so i played with it for about an hour and got nowhere... so i figured it's gotta be my head unit (it's an aiwa btw), so i went online and looked around and found the Pioneer DEH-P6800MP, it here's the specs... CD/MP3/WMA, MOSFET 50WX4, super tuner IIId (tells station name, cd song, artist ect...) sat radio ready, ecq, i-pod (gay imo) i-tunes ready, OEL display all blue, couple of backround things screensaver like things there gay to me, and it also has a wireless remote (for that back seat lovin') lol but overall i give it an 8/10... cost me $281, $200 if i would have gotten my friends employee discount... i haven't installed it yet cuz i'm working on a switch so i can turn my amp on or off cuz my dad doesn't like all the bass so i say let's make it easy on me... here's some pics...

wow that looks really nice man, you diffinitly got a nice headunit...btw i did the same thing for my amp, when the remote wire comes out the back of my deck i just cut it and hooked it up to a switch and then ran it to my amp from there..super easy, takes 2 seconds to do

All Pioneers have a feature on them where you can turn the subwoofer off or on. That is the main reason my last two radios have been Pioneers. Read up in the manual and you won't have to install a switch. I just bought the 5800 model and will be installing it this weekend.

Next time look around on ebay, you'll only have to pay less than 200 for one like that

don't put a hoe in the dash you might end up screwing it. j/k. a good place would be by the parking brake. there are 4 pieces that come right off. you could use one of those spaces to put your amp shutoff switch.
