ok so currently i have a terrible rattling situation and ive been told that i should get a new headunit, the headunit i have Sony Xplod CDX has presents for the eq but no adjustment for trebble and if im not mistaken if i get a headunit that has a good trebble control im looking at this headunit currently

let me know if it will decrease rattle or not thanks

headunit has nothing to do with rattle, what you need to do is fix the rattles on the panels and use some sound deading material, or just turn your volume down, or downgrade your speakers.
