WTF........ you sayen a highpower alternator wont put out much more power by much...... ya if ya get a realy crapy one.LMFAO

your stock alt is what 70-75amps... when you can get up to 170amps with a direct bolt in... tho of course you have to upgrade your battery charging wire to a larger size.....
a high power alternator is the way to go if your pushen any highpower system......

and if your highpower alt isnt puting out a good charge at idle then upgrade as well to a overdrive alternator pulley and get a slightly smaller belt to compensate the smaller pulley, which will turn the alternator over faster which will help it crank out more power at a lower idle.

most dont need it BUT if you bump at stop lights id say still upgrade to t overdrive pulley and new shorter belt for the alternator.... they even help stock alts as well if your not pushen that much power......

dude 100 bucks for an amp kit, givve sum names her bro, last person i charged hundred buks for an amp kit was sum idiot who tried to fight me.i ahve a panasonic touch screen it is amazing, and sony are the biggest pieces of $H** ever. the lasers on them go out after a few years. and jvc is no good either! i love JBL AND INFINITY and clarion they are all very good

 

100bucks for the amp kit... must be a preaty huge kit! hell my 0gauge kit was about 100bucks...
