Default new system question

ok im looking to put in a new audio system in my 05 sedan..however the problem is that i really dont know much about these systems. Now i dont listen to much rap so i dont need much bass but i do want clarity and crispness. To achieve this would i have to buy a component system, just speakers or what?

pioneer head unit id say polk componets for the front and 2 way polk's for the back 200-300watt mono amp for a 1 ten in" kicker comp sub, polk is the crispest speakers ive heard and own and the kicker comp 10 sub isnt to loud but will hit the lows i also like them because they dont need much of an amp the use a little amout of power.

Spend most of yourbudget on the front speakers. Components with the tweeters installed to face you are great. If you don't play it extremely loud, you could even forgo any amp at all and just use the head unit amps, upgrading later if necessary. A mild subwoofer setup is nice even on ordinary music but in a sedan you can get pretty good bass from the rear speakers because they are working against the large space in the trunk.
