Default Panel Removal in 05 civic

I want to replace my rear speakers, and I can't figure out how to remove the rear deack panel. Do the 05 civics have pretty much the same design as the one in "Rear Speaker Installation by remington870_20ga" write-up in the interior modifications forum? Can you just pull off the shoulder pads/ bolsters in the rear seats by pulling on them with some force or are they fastened? Here is the write up i"m talking about. https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_136218/tm.htm
