Default Question on installing speaks to amp

I have a RF 4 ch amp with 50w x 4 @4ohms. How can I hook up my rear speakers to this? I already have an extra set of patch cables running to the deck. I hooked the patch cablesup to the FRONT input on my amp and then put the speaker wires from the amp to the speakers. What am I doing wrong?

patch cables? Im not quite sure how this is possible...unless you have a special amp and head unit

All you really do is send two pairs of RCA cables from the head unit to the amp, one for fronts and one for rear, from there you attach the speakers to the outputs via wire, can't really say it any easier than that

unless you're using digital

I'm actually putting in a 4-ch amp and removing my sub because I need the trunk space.
