Default Removing rear speakers from underneath

I just purchased a 97 EX. After doing some research it looks like removing the rear speakers is a PITA. If i cut off the white plastic tabs can i remove the speaker from underneath and mount my new ones from the bottom. Is it easy to get the speaker out from the bottom?i

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.
No im pretty sure the speakers need to come out from up top lol
those white things attatch to the screws holding your speaker down in place.

Im guessing you need to remove the speaker covers, and remove the 4 screws..
should be fairly simple

Yeah, you NEED those white clips to secure the speakers. You've gotta pull the plastic rear deck off and unscrew them.
