Sirius sportster suction mount adjustement??
Hey Everyone
I recently had the Sirius Sportster 4 installed in my car at Best Buy. I am noticing that the swivel mount at the back of the cradle is quite loose and the reciever flops around quite a bit. Is there a way to tighten the swivel somehow? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks so much
Mahones

turn the dial on the side.... easy... BUT with the windshield mount it will never be SOLID.... mine got hit all the time and poped around every time i hit it.... no matter how tight i tried to turn that dial.... its jsut plastic. its not solid steel with a solid mount...
i just posted this on another thread, i think it was started by Mahones too, but windshield mounts suck they are a target for theft and the fall buy a bracket.

if there isnt one available u can get a universal one from Circuitcity but i can tell you it can be difficult to alter, but other times it can be easy....just hope for a vehicle specific mount

there are two spots where it will flop. Right behind the unit where it swivels, or where you adjust the mount up and down. Mine has been solid for quite some time now heres what ya have to do
Honestly, I really dont like the brackets they sell yet as I dont like it sitting in the middle of the dash. I am working on trying to install it somewhere below my radio.
