This is a really cool sony DD head unit.

LOL, I am also not a big Sony car audio fan.

Although I love the home stuff.

 

Well, the secret ES line is what its apart of. Sony makes all of these high end woofers that they dont talk about much. I think this head unit is one of those good ones. Ive heard some of the ES car audio stuff and was pleasantly surprised. Im willing to bet that head unit rocks.

 

ive never seen or hear it so i wouldnt take the risk.......besides i dont like double din players...........im good with my pioneer.

Why is the es line a secret, we carry some of it but not much. People who want to spend decent amounts of money wont even glance in SOnys direction

 

theyll look for alpine.....mb quartz.......for those who have heard of macintosh.....and possibly some FOCAL....if they wanna shell out THAT kinda loot.

 

One of my friends just put some 3 way focal seperates in his truck, they are nice

 

I wouldnt mine some Dynaudio's. Great speakers made in France.
