I got a set of 6 1/2 3-way on my corolla. I had them for about 2 years without any problems. They kinda sound like crap, but that's because toyota made crappy enclosures for them - same could be said about civics. On my other cars, there are small enclosures that make speakers sound very nice.

Infinitys are amazing!!! They will run you a pretty penny though. If you're trying to spend reasonable amounts of money, grab some Boston acoustics. I got Eclipse 3 way coaxials in my phoenix and I'm happy with them. If you got the cash though man, I'd definitely peep those infinitys.

sony XPLOD ..it speeks for itself, my company would rather but speekers from walmart then sonys, they blow very very very easy..as far as thier head units go,iv had more then a few times where a brand new deck comes with a missing face plate. or broken face plate.

My top comps...PG(Pheonix gold)...Just amazing..
JL Audio..costly..
Alpine..got digital amps that work amazing with their top end head units...
Kicker ,
Directed Audio...amazing amps..

$$$$$High roller comps$$$$$$...RE(Resonant Engineering)..best car audio comp out there. gotta buy from them tho. noone else.
JL Audio(w7)..$700 a pop but amazing..
Earthquake..just F**in loud..
