Default Stock cd player issue I EVEN TRIED WMP!

hey everyone,
I have a 02 civic, and been trying to burn cdr and play them in the car however the cd player reads it and then ejects.
I burned cds using nero, windows media player and all sorts of burners the only improvement was that the cd player was able to play the song when burned by wmp however it 1 min for it too read it and then actually play the song. Any ideas or tricks in making cdr work?
thanks,
Hill

Did you try playing CD+R's and CD-R's?

I am pretty sure some will only play one or the other, just like DVD+R and DVD-R's. Some older DVD players won't read +'s but will read - discs.

Your burner will burn on either disc, the only difference is what it plays in. And to be honest, I don't even know if they have + and - for CDR's, but I think they do.

Worth a shot anyway.

Try a different brand of blank disk. Also of course test your burnt disk in a boom box or some other simple CD player to see if it is recorded properly. There is no + or - type, just CD-R (burn once) and CD-RW (can be erased). Very few audio CD players can read a CD-RW disk.
