Ported 3 x 15" Type Rs in a Excel. That moves alot of air in such a tiny car. A fake eye popping out is quite a good effort. I read in a magazine about a guy who turned it up to far and his body locked and he dropped the remote and someone nearby had to run up with hearing protection on to turn it down cause he couldnt move. It was like 147 SPL I think but.

well again THESE PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS!
147db is nice but nothing HUGE..... i had 2 15s in my extended cab firing right at my head my best score was 156.3 dB

and my typical seat position....

i loved that setup BUT i just wanted my back seat back.... and then i got my civic and downgraded by half cause of the civics tiny alternator
as you can see ive had some preaty large systems in my truck. and ive never had any problems besides it being hard to swallow with that hard bass note...

so im calling BS on those health issues... .they already had problems that where just not diagnosed!
ive had louder than your 147db and i know a few more people that have been pushen ALOT LOUDER that push it hard DAILY!!!!

check out his videos he makes.... my personal favorite is the restrants windows...

I used to bump 150 spl daily back before I had kids and $0...The worst I ever heard from people was that it was hard to breathe, and one kid threw up, but he was sick already I think, cause 150 wasnt (or really didnt seem to me like) anything.
