Default Sub opinions

Ok so i want to have two subs instead of one because 1) i'm gonna do some custom boxes that fit in the sides of my trunk 2) it looks cooler

I'm not too concerned about the power of the subs, which is why i'm comparing the infinity to the Type R......I'm more concerned about the sound, effiency, etc. and money.

I've owned the Infinity Reference 1250w, and it sounded really nice! Haha even hooked up to a Dual 300 max amp (it wasn't my choice to have that amp), but the type R's seem to be the favorite of everyone...here are the specs and the bold parts are what i'm worried about mostly, and/or the differences between the subs. Anything else i should look at? Or any other subs?

what amp are you using because you would need to match up the subs with the amp that you have the wrong ohms and your amp might go into protect or may not power the subs at maximum potential

Oh yeah i know that, that's not a problem

I guess my main question is does the sensitivity matter THAT much between these two subs? and then the rest

no the sensitivity doesn't matter that much if you have the power to push them and personally I wouldn't go with the type-r just because someone else told you too. Go with what you like the sound and look and specs of. Personally I won't go with a type-r because I think that they are ugly, I like the look of subs like the Memphis Mclass http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/produ...ss-subwoofers/

What about Cadence for an amp (the Ia7)? And a Fi or Acoustik Valence sub? Hear they kick JL's butt and are some the best sounding subs out there

JL is extremely good stuff but pricey. I've heard of Cadence but never seen or heard it its best to stick with a name brand amps, subs you can gamble with. FI is some sweet stuff my friend has one 18 hittin 151db and it reacts just as fast as a 10. Never heard of Acoustik Valence or rogue acoustics. I've heard of Dayton but never heard them.
