Yeah JL's good but i could buy like six comparable subs or one JL sub lol

I dunno about Focal subs.....I've heard their speakers are great, but not much on their subs

I am sure Focal would be more for sound quality versus SPL though, similar to the Morel Ultimo series.

Regardless, you can have the best equipment that money can buy and still have a crappy sounding system if proper care has not been given regarding the install.

yea i mention focal because i have a 13" and love it, but i always wonder how a 13" jl audio would sound in my tiny civic trunk lol
I'm doing a clean install in my new 98 civic coupe, i removed my sub, amps, cd player out of my old alero but the boston accoustic speakers in the alero are staying because i dont really like them and the sizes are all wrong. What speakers should i get for fairly cheap? infinity??? thanks and sorry for jacking your thread, but just buy jl audio
thanks

I've got Infinity Reference series and they get loud! I have them just hooked up to my base line Sony HU too But they aren't the best sound quality.....

I'll have to hear a JL sub before i ever spend that much lol. They may be amazing but i still think you can get better for what you would spend on the JL.

Haha i bet it does!!! The new box is going pretty good, got the first one disassembled....that was way fun

The new one is for one 12....i'm gonna have to get creative to fit two in there....

ninja edit!: Oh and this one should be way easier and sound WAY better!!! It doesn't have any angled cuts and the port is just gonna be regular, nothing fancy (read [/fail])
