generally, rule of thumb is 1.0 farad per 1000 watts. Sometimes amps will suck electricity from the battery like an alchoholic on a friday night. Yea, id upgrade to 2. Or just daisy chain another 1.0 farad. You might only need a .5 farad pending how ad your problem is.
