The console as in first you pull the arm rest section, then you remove the plastic around the shifter. I think you just need to remove 8 screws, but be REAL careful when pulling.

ETA: I think you may need to remove your shifter **** too.... I don't remember if the plastic will clear the shifter or not...
THANKS, i got it out.

Therewas a cablethat was leading under my carpet, it conected to the tape deck, and the wire coming out of the tape deck ran up to the radio. I thought this was the antenna cable? Know, that i disconected the tape player, i dont think this cable that was coming out of my rug from the arm rest, That plugged into my tape deck, will reach my new radio...

Where is the input for the antenna? Is it that long black cord all the way to the left? Or is it that input to the right of the two red RCA plugs?

Also the cord all the way to the right, what is that for? my stock radio did not have it, where do i plug it in?
All the way to the left should be your antenna. As for the plug all the way to the right, I think that is a USB cable.

I will let you in on something I learned the hard way! Just be glad you are not installing an alarm right now like I chose to do. My radio has been ready to be installed, but I am about 4 hours into my alarm, and probably will take all day tomorrow to work on it!

well not a MUST but it definatly helps!

first get under the rear deck and with some pliers or something squize the large white clips and push them up so they clear the hole kinda...

then you could try to man handle it out after poping the rear side panels loose and fold the seat down but its a PITA! but its definatly alot easier if you remove the rear seat, the side panels and i cannt remember if the top side panels need to come off as well... cannt remember then the rear deck trim can come off and you can see your speakers... i would recomend either replace them with some nice speakers that way you shouldnt have to go thru all that again to swap them out. BUT if you do kinda cheap it out then i would say mount them from the bottom of the rear deck so next time you can just remove them from inside the trunk.

It is not hard, just takes me a long time because of my being **** about soldering all my connections and putting the brain in the hardest to get to place....

ya that looks like the proper way to swap the speakers out

and ya.. that takes alot more time all that soldering and such........

IMO its not worth securing my alarms all hidden at least for me..... hell FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE is my most security system, plus if anyone wants my car bad enough they will get it...
my alarm is mainly for keyless entry and remote start... and alittle deterant for the ammature smash and grabers... only thing i would like to get for my alarm system now is auto trunk poper, and a tilt sensor to protect my wheels alittle. not to concerned about it really. my main security is its parked in the garage at nights.

I got the rear speakers out! it wasint that hard, only about an hour to take evrything out.

Know the only thing i need to find out is, how to run that amp cable to the battery. I think the hole is on the driver side, i havint mess with it but it looks to be realy tuff to rip it open!!But i dont want to wreck anything...

ya dont rip it.LOL just use a small razor blade to make a slit in the open part of it and push the wire thru. you dont want a huge hole...

also IMO it looks better if you pull the battery, and battery tray and use the wire gromet that goes kinda straight down to get the wire inside the car... it keeps the engine bay looking nice a clean! alittle more work BUT IMO WELL WORTH IT!!!! plus you save ruffly 4ft of wire if you ran it to the drivers side and then back..
