Question Sun Glare on 7" stereo screen!

2000 Honda Civic.
I just had a Boss Stereo with Navigation put in. The sun is glaring on my screen and it is tilted as far as it will go.
Has anyone came up with a shade cover that can go just above the a/c ducts where the panel snaps in.
I am thinking of something to do temporary and thought I would ask if it's been done.
So far nothing but still checking.

have you looked into anti glare screen protectors? I have the same issue sometimes with my DD when it was in my 99 Civic, and now my Teg.

Maybe you would like to share some photos on the positioning of your stereo and the direction of the sun glare (normally).

Question

I did research on the anti-glare screen stuff and it sucks. As far as pictures, everyone basically knows that the window is slanted so far back that the whole dash is in the sun and even blinds you. I put a strip of window tint accross the top of the front windshield but still no help. Today i cut a piece of palstic and stuck it with a curve on it and will check and see if it helps. Once i figure something out and either make it where it looks good i will post some pics.
I was just wondering if anyone else has any issues with the sun glare on a 2000 Civic with motorized popup 7" wide screen type stereos?

Whenever my single din starts getting a glare I wipe it down with anti-glare cleaner and it's good for another couple months.

I still have the plastic protector over the screen. The Installer said to leave it.
Do you think that is an issue since maybe there in a anti glare on the screen itself. What do you think?
