96 ex coupe. had the passenger tweeter blow. this is my second set (the first were alpines). they were fockford fnq3401x expensive and sounded great. i dont drive them hard. the gain on my amp is a ittle over half. and the crossover that came with the tweeters was set to medium. i cant find a company that will repair. what could be causing this. alpine head unit and alpine 5 channel amp.

 

did you put capacitors inline?

 

no they came with some big *** crossovers. And the factory crosovers are there as well
