yeah 9886 came out right after i got my 9885, its got imprint technology and a little better screen. if he isnt going to use imprint its not worth it though.

 

I first put an Alpine 9885 in my '06 Mustang GT because the Skipper 500 factory radio was an utter POS. Then, when the factory radio in my '97 Civic started giving me problems, I ordered another Alpine 9885 from Crutchfield. Now I want to get another iPod because I always seem to leave my iPod in the "other" car!

 

i just hate that it lacks so much in tuning, HPF.... and then Treb and Bass with a spectrum.... worthless. where is my time allignment
