Hi, I m fromthe southeast of uk.

Im thinking of upgrading my ek civic vti I m looking for about 180+ bhp

I want to keep the 1.6 dohcVtec but was think of either :

Upgrading the engine ive got withhigh performance parts

or

Changing the head etc to the Ek type R.

The problem is that I dont know who in uk (near to me as poss) I should be talking to and what would be the most cost effecive way to go?...

Can anyone help?

 

Ill tell you right off the bat, dont change that head its not going to make a diff at all. You need high comp pistons and a good intake mani and system, header and exhaust. or if you dont want to stay with NA you can boost it and have 180 easy.
