Hey, Im in the process of repainting my valve cover as well as removing my header cover to repaint that aswell. I just wanted to know if I needed a new head gasket when putting my valve cover back on and how to remove my header cover. Also if anyone has a owners manual for a 1996 honda civic hatch cx they could send me, that would be really great

I'm gonna say no you don't NEED it, but if you have the cash to spare why not replace it.

 

Alrighty thanks Chimera, ill see how it is when I put my valve cover back on and if I see its leeking oil ill go ahead and get a new gasket. I got my header cover off fine and valve cover and their both painted a nice bright red. They just need a glossy clear coat put on which ill be picking up tomorrow along with a new air filter for my AEM SRI. In regards to my air filter, does it need a specific size? or is it all pretty much universal?
