I think I might get some time this weekend to do a quality chop to get a decent drop on it to see how it looks. Also, I'm trying to decide if I should keep the smoked headlights or if I should sand 'em down and go with yellow. Yellow would be different and more functional (light output), but I'm not sure. I did a chop of it like 6-7 months ago when I first thought of it, but maybe it'll look better on orange than it did red.

Actually, that's about the only thing I use gimp for (other than tweaking the brightness/contrast of a pic before posting it)... seeing how I like different ideas. It's how I decided on semi-flat black wheels instead of bronze or gunmetal

*edit: and it probably doesn't hurt with that pic that I shaved the door handles and fender badges while chopping it. Go ahead and look back at the pic. Bet you guys didn't notice that when you first looked at it, right?

 

id keep them black if your still going to have the orange/black paint job i think yellow would look out of place
but yea drop would definetly look better
