Just warm your motor up, so its not too hot so it burns you, but just warm enough.. spray some engine degreaser everywhere you want clean, i used a low pressure washer and it got alot of stuff clean, to really get it clean, wipe everything down by hand after that. dont forget to cover everything up!! it can cause major problems... and after i clean my engine bay i usually let me car sit for a good hour, just to make sure its all dried out

Good ones, and what manypeople use are:
[ul][*]Gunkin the aerosol spray can...(I like Gunk Gel since the regular type kind of just runs down, the gel one sticks...)[*]Or Meguriars APC (All Purpose Cleaner) diluted then you put it in spray bottle and spray...[/ul]

If you get the Gunk use one entire can for your engine, and repeat if nessesary with another can...(about $5 per can)

If you get the APC (about $15) you can also use it to clean other things, its really handy.

Also you shoulduse abrush to go over and work in the product in case some of the grease needs to be scrubbed a bit to come off...

(Dont get any of this stuff over your paint...if you think itll be messy, get some painters tape and tape on some plastic sheet to drape over your paint on the sides and front...and windshield area to protect from spray...)
