How do you guys clean your motor? My distributor (before I changed it) was leaking oil so I have oil all over the block and tranny. I am pretty sure you cant just open the hood and go to town with a power washer (or can you?) Degreaser? Let me know because it's pretty gnarly in there. Not that I have a show car or anything but, you know how it is.

Just buy some engine degreaser and then let it soak for about 20 minutes. Try to stay away from rubber and plastic parts as much as possible. If you have a short ram filter, just put a plastic bag over the filter to keep it safe from the degreaser and dirt that you clean off. Then spray it off with a power washer or in a car wash.
