Question Hard water spots on windows?

I've been washing my car weekly since I bought it 2 years ago. But the side windows have got some hard water spots on them and with the windows tinted it's really noticeable. It's driving me crazy. I tried fine steel wool, white distilled vinegar and nothing is working so far...any suggestions?

rubbing compound and a buffing wheel. u can polish glass just like paint. wax it too. thats what rain-x is. use some #7 compound and a variable speed buffer. it wont hurt paint if it gets on it either. good luck!

Here is a very good alternative to using regular razor blades, highly recommend everyone pick a set of these up. (don't worry cheapskates, they're only $6 )

Just get some regular white household vinegar.

It is mildly acidic and will easily remove water spots. Apply it some newspaper and then gently buff off the spots from the windows.

I made the mistake of parking next to a well water sprinkler at an apartment complex one time.
