paint on windows
Razor blade works best. I've done it before. I painted my window trim that had chipped off the plain silver and it got a little on the windows, and i scraped it off with a razor blade, works great.
i know this is a little old but if you use steel wool use the 0000 stuff and you will never scratch glass even, but will remove paint fine, i used to work auto body for a couple of summers and that is what they always used on newly painted cars, im talking $10,000 paint jobs just make sure you are using 0000 and keep it wet with some glass cleaner and wash it off with a hose right when you are done so you don't have the metal chips anywhere, if you don't believe me go ask your local auto body shop.
