I have detailed for almost 2 years now and I love it it’s a great job I wish I had the finances to get a shop and start my own business. There is only one detail shop in my town and he has a bad name so I think getting business would be easy. If you do open up shop I am using a carpet shampooer called a cobra I have use a few different machines and this thing rocks there is clear tanks 2 vacuum motors 2 plug ins one for the fans, vacuum motors and pump which is placed before the hot water heater and the other plug is just for the heater. This thing gets hot in about 30 sec and stays hot look in to one of these.
