Default Took off Spoiler, need to cover holes, make it look good.

I bought the car with a very un-attractive aftermarket spoiler and recently took it off. It was my first car modification and i'm very pleased with myself. But now i'm looking to cover the about 10holes left in my truck lid. :/ Any hints ?

buy a lid that didnt have a spoiler, get a stock spoiler. plug with some soft of bondo of fiberglass stuff. plug them with eraser heads (people do it -_-) and a little paint. weld it shut, sand it down, paint.

If you don't wanna pick up a new trunk and paint it, I'd say weld the wholes shut and paint it. It depends on how much money you wanna spend on having it look nice again. If it were me, I'd probably have someone tack weld a few pennies inside the holes, fill the spots with bondo, then take it to Maaco.

Seems like the easiest most painless way would be to fiberglass over the holes and then just paint the fiberglass with a matching color paint.

Either that or look around for some plugs, next step would be to buy another truck lid that didn't have a spoiler.
