Default 2000 civic si ECU prob.

I have a 2000 civic si thats throwing a code number p0117 meaning collant temp low input. I replaced the coolant temperature sensor and that didnt help at all.Its keeping my v-tec from kicking in and its hard to start when its cold. Any suggestions.
