I have a '90 Civic sedan, 130K miles. The vent fan seems to have gone out. No mater whether I have it on A/C or Heat or just plain fan no air comes out the vents. I checked the fuses under the dash and all seem fine. What could this be?

 

make sure th fuse isnt blown, ive had them break down in the corner where you couldnt see it unless you looked REALLY close. other than that, it could be the switch, the motor, or i believe there is a relay for it under the hood.

 

relay.....((shudder)) i had a monstrosity of a relay problem in my old nissan, when i first got it, the engine wouldnt turn ....actually to say it all, nothing electronic worked, not even the radio. It was like ye $600 to get it straight. The redneck mechanic who worked on it told me the damn thing was "afro engineered" to hell and back. I found it funny even tho it was sort of a little biggin remark.

 

Thanks. I switched the fuse out but it didn't help so i'll try to find that switch and relay.
