can someone please help me! I have an 03 ex sedan, and one day the ABS light went on and then my radio went out then one by one the lights went on then the gages went to zero. when i turn my car off and try to turn it on again it would make a tickin sound. so i got the battery and alternator checked. they said the voltage regulator wasn't charging. so I changed the alternator. my car ran fine for two days until this morning. the ABS light went on then the radio went out. my car didn't die this time but the ABS light keeps coming on and off. what do you think i is? could it be wires touching or something please help!!!!!

yes, it could be a short somewhere, like in the charging system..and electric system....maybey check your abs wires first, they could be shorting and causing your electical problems, and when they stop touching, it goes off...thats all i can think of off the top of my head.

I have a viper engine start alarm. I got pulled over and harassed couple of weeks ago. they tore my car apart. all the wires in my dash were hanging. then i started to have they problems. could it have something to do with that?[:'(]

 

yea, the cops jacked your car all up... sue them...they will have to pay for it, provided that you have proof of the problem coming back on them, which, if your car doesnt run, and wires are hanging out of the dash, its their fault...btw, what did they try to say about your alarm system? i wasnt aware that those are illegal....i dont have one, but thats becuase my "insured by ruger" sticker, and the fact that everyone around me knows i have alot of guns, and i dont miss is all the insurance i need.

Thanks for responding to my post. I finally figured out what was wrong. One my alternator did go out, well the voltage regulator went out. and when i changed it I guess i didn't tighten it enough and my belt was slippin. I feel stupid, thankz for not making fun of me.
