Default ANYONE HELP PLS

i am new to the site so hello to all . a friend of mine gave me a 1992 honda civic which he recently install a d16z6 engine into i am almost positive that all that he did was put the engine in and go. i have a check engine light coming on that say its my map sensor. i notice that the charcoal can on the firewall has #7 hose just laying there and the #21 hose from the map sensor also lays dormit doing nothing this is probly why i have a cel but i dont know where to hook the two hoses up at cause there is no open spots. also i hear that when you do this engine swap that you have to jump a connector to get the v-tec to work so if anyone can lend some advice here it would be greatly appriciated thanks......MATT
